Ellie and myself are currently student nurses in third year and hoping to experience healthcare in a different culture as part as our training, which has to be funded by ourselves.
We are going to the Philippines on April 7th until May 7th to experience nursing care on a different level. This experience will allow us to develop our competency as nurses as well as challenge us emotionally.
This placement will mean we can bring valuable skills back to the UK and to provide knowledgeable care to our future patients. We also need to provide our own masks, gloves and scrubs.
