This Christmas, thousands of elderly people will be alone, no Christmas presents, no friends or family to spend time with, it can be a very lonely time of the year for them. Many homeless people face a cold and lonely Christmas, spending the festive period on the streets with very little to eat or keep them warm.

So, to let them know we are thinking of them at this time of the year, myself and a lovely group of ladies are putting together Christmas boxes to support Age UK Essex's Christmas Present appeal for the elderly and we are also working with The Goodnews Church, Romford to reach out to homeless people. Each box will contain some store bought food items and other bits and bobs that they will find useful e.g. Fleece blankets, mittens, toiletries etc.. along with a Christmas card.

We have an estimated £12 cost to put together each box and we are hoping to be able to get out as many boxes as possible.

Please give a box or sponsor part of a box (no amount you give is too little, whatever you give will go a long way).
