Story
Every two years Loreto College takes a group of students to work with the Loreto Schools in India. These schools work with some on the poorest children in India to give them the opportunity of a better future.
This year students and staff at Loreto Sixth Form College Manchester are fundraising to take money to the Rainbow children of Kolkata, India.
The group of 40 led by Miss Henry, will volunteer in 4 Loreto schools each day and will work with Rainbow children living at these schools in the evenings.
The Rainbow children are vulnerable girls who have been given a safe home in the Loreto institutions that we will be working alongside. Rainbow homes were set up by Sister Cyril, a Loreto sister based in Kolkata .
We really appreciate your help and any donations given will be greatly received by the children and will contribute to helping with their basic needs and education.
