Story
We, The Prince's Trust, Eastbourne Team 21, for our community project have decided to create a new sensory garden for people that struggle with dementia and old age. We think this is a compelling issue that we can support. We are doing this because we believe gardening is one of the most active things people can do. gardening has long been recognised as a means of improving both mental and physical health and encouraging independence, this will allow them to have a safe space where they can relax, reminisce and improve their wellbeing.
