i had a major stroke in may2014 and have been in rehabilitation ever since ,i started attending sessions with Stroke Rehab Dogs about6 months ago and havebeen amazed at the improvements in mobility, speech and self confidence that i and theother stroke survivors who attend have made in that time. it is organised and run by volunteers with their dogs and is a brilliant example of how animal assisted therapy can contribute to rehabilitation. id like to raise the money so that more equipment which will enable a greater range of activities can be purchased
