Tom, Ellie and I will be attempting the 3 Peaks on the 26th August 2017 - Ben Nevis, Scafell and Snowdon all within 24 hours. In excess of 3000 metres of climbing, 26 miles of walking and a LOT of time driving from Scotland to Wales via the Lake District. It's going to be quite a challenge.

We are raising funds for Tom's trip to Northern India with World Challenge in 2018. He will spend 4 weeks living, trekking and volunteering with local communities.

Tom's group of school boys (I should probably say young men) have chosen a project working with remote villages to challenge gender inequality and improve female literacy rates which are extremely low in remote parts of Northern India.

During the trip, Tom and his group will attempt to summit Stok Kangri, which at 6000 meters will be quite an achievement. Doing the 3 Peaks seemed like the perfect way to raise funds and train for the trip.

Ellie and I are his support posse as at only 17 he was unable to join an organised 3 Peaks event without an adult.
