My son who has autism has just had his favourite possession stolen. His bike !!
To many of us a bike isn't the end of the world but to my son (Josh) his worlds fallen apart. His bike was his only form of independence and he literally loved his bike. He went to our local shop , bolted his bike up like he knows he has to , went into the shop and when he came out it was gone. We went into the security guards and they checked cctv and you can clearly see a man with bolt cutters cutting the bolt and riding off on his bike. Police were called and still the bike hasn't been found.
My son doesn't understand why someone would take his bike when it's not there's to take , he feels empty and just wants his bike back. We all know that's very unlikely to happen.
So I would like to ask if you would all help me in raising some money to get him another bike 🚴 so he can try to feel normal again and get his independence back ? Even the smallest amount of help all will add up and help considerably.
Anything you can give will be extremely appreciated and will hopefully lift Joshs spirits again when I explain not everyone in the world just takes but some also give & care.
