Both Paula and myself will be taking part in the Tough Mudder Water Wipeout 5km obstacle race on the 7th July. We are doing it to raise money for the charity REAN. They save dogs from the horrific kill shelters and streets of Romania and find them their happy and loving forever homes. The kill shelters in Romania are horrendous. The dogs are locked up in small cages without food or water and are left there until they die from starvation or freeze to death.
We rescued our beautiful Tilly through them this year. She was found by REAN in the kill shelter covered in snow with no food or water. When REAN rescued her from there she was very underweight and had mange. Its amazing to think in just two months how much she has changed. She is the most loving and intelligent dog you could wish for. She has totally completed our crazy little family and melts our hearts everyday.
