I've been doing kayak slalom for ten years. It's been an unbelievable journey, and it's given me highs and lows I couldn't get anywhere else. My mission as an athlete is to enjoy the ride, and share with others the enriching experiences I get mentally and physically from racing this incredible sport.

This is my first year racing as a member of the GB Senior team for World Cups #2, #3 and #4. After an incredible and mind-blowingly intense selection series in April, the teams have been decided and I will be racing with my name on the side of my boat, like I've dreamed of for the last few years. The World Cups cost £350 each, and I want to raise the funds to make these races possible. I've loved the water since I was small, and I finally have an opportunity to race across the world for GB.

I think sport is an essential way to learn some of the most important lessons in life, and I try to maintain an ethic of taking absolute responsibility and ownership of my training and racing. I want to be able to put everything on the table, and display in three races the work I've put in to be the best I can be.
