Hi, my name is Luca. I'm a 15 year-old guy who lives in Auchterarder, Scotland. Ever since I was young I have wanted to ride horses but unfortunately due to circumstances this was never an option.

Then four years ago, my grandmother enabled me to have twenty lessons. Ever since I used up those lessons I was very keen to continue, in order to make it possible I had to work during my holidays and also one day a week at the yard.

Two years ago the yard where I was riding introduced me to Polocrosse, a fast paced, thrilling mix of lacrosse and polo. I immediately fell in love with it. Last summer I went to my first competition, the pony club championships and I won. This was a brilliant experience for my first time.

Afterwards i was accepted to play this summer for Scotland at the Home Internationals and was very excited as this is an amazing opportunity for me to do what I love.

Playing for Scotland will involve going to multiple tournaments to practice playing against others on that level, and as I don't have my own horse I have to hire. This comes at great costs along with the kit, extra training, entry fees, and travel. In order to finance this I have picked up another job. My family has dedicated their time and energy, along with as much financial support as possible towards my aspiration.

Despite all this there is still a gap. As it is my dream to go as far as I can with Polocrosse I would be forever grateful for any donations I am given to help me achieve this.
