I am Lucie, and I love to travel. I realised I want to do just more than travel, I want to help people...make a difference! So I decided to look for a volunteering programme. I found my perfect project with the group Frontier, (a non profit international volunteering organisation) I will be teaching at a local school of 4-12 year olds in Ubud, Bali for 4 weeks this May.
I hope to be formulating lessons, giving them an insight into how life is like back at home, and taking part in extra curricular activities with them after school. I've come to a point where travel isn't enough, where I want to do more and this programme will allow me to do that.
I have completed a TEFL certificate classroom course and a currently doing an online TEFL course so I am able to offer the children as much as possible.
I am trying to raise as much as I can so I can go and make a difference to these children's lives (no matter how small) and give something back to a local community. Your donation will help get the physical manpower out to projects where they are needed most!! Many thanks!!!
