Story
As 2021 is a holy year on the Camino the Santiago and it is also the year that will mark the new world post COVID-19 I am going to try and inspire people to give generously to help others in the UK that have worked hard to care for people who suffered from the pandemic.
Carers for people that were not in a position to either understand or cope well with the challenges the pandemic brought. Staying home, not seeing loved ones, no ordinary routines to fall back on etc. Carers are not only unpaid, but rarely get support, or do not know where they can get support, let alone respite.
With the raised money I hope to be able to give just those people the funds to help carers have an experience they will enjoy after the difficulties that 2020 brought and is still bringing.
Besides donating for the charity you can also choose to help me walk this St. James Way by donating to pay for the nights in the pilgrim hostels. Let me know which amount you want to allocate to accommodation and which amount to the charity so I know what to keep apart when transferring the money raised to the charity.
