Story
I work at Loughton Youth Project and LYP Radio and i honestly love working here. It's not just a youth centre or a radio station but it is a community brought together. Myself and many others are doing a live 24-hour radio broadcast from the 28th may- 29th may to raise money to keep Loughton Youth Project and LYP Radio running. If you sponsor me you can message me and i will do a task that you have set live on air during the 24-hour radio broadcast. Whether its eating 100 marshmallows or doing 100 press ups.
Loughton Youth Project is a registered charity that's helped young people for over 8 years it currently runs a community radio broadcast. It gives opportunities to many local young people. Due to funding cuts the project needs to raise money to continue providing these services and activities for young people. £5000 would allow LYP to purchase new equipment that is essential for radio broadcasting, upgrade furniture that is now 8 years old, and support our general running costs for a further 6 months.
