Hi, Salam Alaykum, my name is Lujane and I’m a Palestinian activist living in the UK.

They tried to silence me for speaking up about the genocide in Gaza. Now I’m facing a trial.

For the past 18 months, I’ve been using my voice to speak out against the genocide of my people in Gaza and to educate others about the decades of ethnic cleansing my family and ancestors have endured.

But in Britain today, resistance is being criminalised. I’ve faced relentless harassment from the police, the zionist lobby, and the media. I’ve lost my job. I’ve been arrested three times. Most recently, plainclothes officers arrived at my home in unmarked vehicles and took me into custody all because a video of me chanting at a protest went viral.

Now, I’m facing four charges and a trial later this year. Legal fees have already cost me thousands and legal aid is exceedingly difficult to qualify for..

I'm asking for your support to help cover the legal costs of defending myself in court and continuing to speak out for Palestine. As the costs are subject to increases until the date of the trial, I’ve set the limit to the costs currently required.
