I entered for a ballot place in the 2018 London Marathon and to my surprise was lucky enough to get a space. I’ve been training since January and have managed a couple of long runs up to 17.5 miles, but have found the training hard. Now here we are less than a week away and I need your help to make this all worthwhile. Anything you can spare, no matter how small, will be gratefully received.

All the money I raise will be split between 2 causes. My nephew Fraser, who has DMD, requires his parents home to be adapted so he can use his power wheelchair at home. DMD is a muscle wasting condition which is life limiting and currently has no cure or treatment. Also my niece Alannah has a congenital heart condition. She is under the care of Great Ormond Street Hospital now and in the future, as she will require frequent monitoring tests and operations, including open heart surgery.
