Help for Luke

Story

Luke is 5yrs old and has developed a rare condition called aplastic anaemia which effects the stem cells produced in his blood, particularly his platelets.

He is in need of a bone marrow transplant and the search is on to find a matching donor.

Luke is a fun, loving, energic boy and would love to be able to go on days out with his brother and family, go back to school and play with all his friends again. Please help him.

How You Can Help

A registration clinic is taking place at SJF week commencing 25th March, asking everyone who is 17-55 yrs old to register with DKMS in the hope of one day being a successful match for someone, if not Luke, in need of donor.

Each registration costs DKMS £40.00 to process so they are in need of as much funding as possible to facilitate this service.

An inspired group are also doing the London Bridge walk on 12th May from Tower Bridge to Putney Bridge to raise awareness of DKMS, and would be very grateful for your sponsorship.

More fundraising events are being planned which we will update you on soon.

Of all the funds we manage to raise, 50% will be donated to DKMS and 50% will go to help the Lydon family through this difficult time.
