Our children will be running, walking and dancing along a 5k track on 17th March to help raise money for Wexham Park Hospital ward 24 and children's paediatric assessment unit who have done and continue to do a fantastic job in providing the care and Support their friend Luke needs!

Here's Luke's story: Luke was a normal 11 active year old boy full of life, always well and loved his sports and spending time with his family and friends. In November 2017 we noticed a change in his voice and his lymph glands around his neck were swollen so we got them checked out as any normal worried parent would do. We had one appointment after the other and after a few weeks we were finally given the answer that was devastating, he was diagnosed with T-cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. We were sent to John Radcliffe Hospital where he started his initial treatment which we were informed would be over a course of 3 years and 3 months. A month into his treatment he was scanned and we were amazed to hear that he was in complete remission! Although this is the case he would still need to continue the ongoing intense treatment until 2020 to ensure the cancer wouldn't return. He has been amazingly brave and it's a battle everyday but he takes it in his stride. The NHS have been amazing and John Radcliffe share care with Wexham Park Hospital for his treatment so that he can have a lot of the care whilst being at home and trying to have a normal life going to school etc as much as he can. We would love your support in raising funds for Wexham our local hospital who do such an amazing job, not only supporting Luke but our family aswell. It's going to be a tough long road but we are lucky to have such supportive family and friends around us to get us through this and kick this!
