Help me to Improve Children's Lives in Malawi

Hi I'm Lydia and I am 13 years old. I have been inspired as part of my Girlguiding to spend 3 weeks next Summer in Malawi volunteering in charity service projects. One of the projects I will be helping with is The Alphabet Bus. Each morning the bus will travel to local primary schools where I will read to children encouraging them to gain a love of books. We will also interact with the children through craft activities and singing helping develop their literacy skills.

Whilst there I will also help with other service projects such as helping to build classrooms for use in rainy weather so schooling is not interrupted, helping supply quality fresh water to rural communities, fixing pumps & providing training for local people or teaching local communities to make efficient clay ovens to reduce the use of wood as part of the reforestation project.
