I have been given the opportunity to travel over to Canada next month to compete against the Quebec provincial boxing champion at lightweight (60kg).
I am currently a student at Coventry University living off student loans and because of this I am struggling to get the funds together to make the fight happen. I am training 2-3 times a day, up to 6 days a week as well as trying to juggle university studies which is leaving next to no time for me to hold down a part time job.
opportunities like this do not come around very often so as soon as I was offered the fight I accepted. This is a great chance for me to better myself and gain experience in boxing against top class opponents abroad. Anybody who knows me well will know I can only see boxing in my future and an experience like this would be appreciated for the rest of my life.
The money that is raised from this will be put completely towards flights and accommodation over in Canada in order for this fight to happen. I'm hoping that people can get behind me to make this fight go ahead and I can bring home the win.
