'Thank you' so much for your support for The Macclesfield Big Bird Box Build. We have raised an incredible £500 online to fund a selection of bird box kits for local children to make. Different box designs will cater for a range of bird species including Red List willow tits. Boxeswill be installed in locations across the Macclesfield area including Cheshire Wildlife Trust's Danes Moss Nature Reserve. Although our JustGiving page closed this week the campaign will continue to gratefully accept donations until the end of March. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters we have been able to broaden the scope of our project. Our team are now working with a range of organisations and will be constructing nestboxes to be put up in additional local beauty spots as well as a selection of central Macclesfield locations.
