On June 18th 2018, Frankie and I will be heading out to Madagascar for four weeks to work with a charity called International Volunteer HQ.

We will be working along side other volunteers from all over the world; with the aim to help develop and improve the circumstances of local communities.

There are four volunteer projects currently in operation in Madagascar, including Teaching, Community Development, Marine Conservation and Forest Conservation.

Specifically, we will be helping to rebuild and repair the local schools and infrastructure that have been severely damaged by a recent hurricane.

We have already paid all our associated costs, such as the programme fees, flights, accommodation and food.

The money we raise will go solely towards the projects themselves; I.E. bricks and mortar for the schools or books and equipment for the children.

Our ultimate goal is to raise enough money to buy a computer for the school, enabling the children to learn what we take for granted, such as Word Processing and email.
