Story
Chemotherapy treatment means that Ezra will lose his hair. Meanwhile Adrian, the head groundsman on our Dairy Hill Sports Complex in Halesworth is tearing his hair out because the grass-cutting equipment is no longer fit for purpose.
To help our young people have the best playing facilities possible at Dairy Hill Ezra is having a ‘Charity Hair Shave’, donating the money to ‘Adrian’s New Tractor’ and losing his hair in style rather than a bit at a time!
Sport participation is such an important part of health and wellbeing and encouraging people to take part in sporting activities not only promotes health but encourages team work and social interaction. However getting the playing surface right is the first step.
The Dairy Hill Sports Complex is home to Halesworth Angel Bowls Club, Halesworth Kuk Sool Won Martial Arts, Halesworth Tennis Club, Halesworth Town Football Club and Halesworth Town Junior Football Club.Arts, Halesworth Tennis Club, Halesworth Town Football Club and Halesworth Town Junior Football Club.
Ezra was instrumental in starting Halesworth Junior Football Clubs teams 40 years ago and the Junior teams will be playing at Dairy Hill during the coming season. Preparation of pitches is vital to encourage our youth to achieve at a higher level, on an injury-reducing sporting environment. Please support him in this cause.
