As the Co-ordinator for Crossroads Young Carers Cowal & Bute i know first hand how much children & young people enjoy & appreciate the activities, groups & support the project provides - these young people are simply amazing! Their support for their families is so important & they deserve time to be themselves & have fun.

Last October (2017), my son decided it would be a good idea if we skydived for his birthday - im scared of heights! A colleague then suggested we could use the terror of me jumping to raise funds for Crossroads Young Carers Cowal & Bute - so here we are - hoping that you’ll contribute to our projects cause!

Weather has played a big part in the delay for the jump, so later this month, May 2018, its been rescheduled! Wish us luck! Unfortunately the clouds were too low and jumping this time was not going to happen - relieved or nervous about coming back and waiting again.....

Third time lucky! On Sunday 8th July we jumped at 10,000 feet!

i was terrified!!! Turns out the only way back down is to jump! It was an awesome experience!!! Would i do it again??!! YES!!!!
