Story
Kishur Miah (32) is the third child of Surab Ali and Tula Begum of Noya Khadimpur, Osmani Nagar, Umarpur Union, Sylhet, Bangladesh. He has 5 brothers and one unmarried sister. His father passed away sometime ago. The family live hand by mouth and have no recourse to financial help.
Kishur's life changed when he had a throat tumour which later turned into Cancer. He received treatment for 6 months in Delta Hospital in Dhaka and was seen by Dr Sarwar Alom (Cancer Specialist).
His mother borrowed 5 Lakh Taka (£5,000) for his treatment and the family now has no money left to complete his treatment.
Kishur worked as a Doftori at Khadimpur Primary School in Umarpur Union. Protab Chokroborty (Lead Teacher) said the school is aware of his families situation.
Kishur received 4 chemotherapy to date and each treatment costed 70,000 Taka (£700).
Doctors advised him that he needs 4 more chemotherapy and 5 weeks of radiotherapy.
For him to complete his treatment another 7 Lakh Taka (£7,000) is needed.
