I am an International Baccalaureate (IB) student, and I am a member of a group that as a part of our CAS (which is a programme that focuses on students developing creative and active habits as well as promoting volunteering) is raising money to support a community in Lesotho, Africa. The money will be going towards clothing and shoes, as well as Wonder Bags which are non-electric, portable bags used to reduce the amount of energy required to cook food. Myself and the rest of my group will be going to Lesotho to work on the community project and to introduce the Wonder Bags to the community.

I want to be able to raise as much money as possible for our cause if it means that I will be able to improve other people's quality of life. This incredible journey will allow me to gain valuable experience - including increasing my independence, sense of fulfilment, and my worldly outlook.

This incredible journey will allow me to connect with new people from another country. I will be able to learn about a different culture, giving me a new perspective to better understand other people both in England and in other countries.

I am hoping to raise £500 on this page by the 31st of March, as it is on this day that I will be shaving off all of my hair. Please help me raise the money for this endeavour, I will be very grateful for every donation that I receive, as well as slightly scared because it will mean that I am one step closer to shaving my head.
