Story
We make up clothing and toy packs for children and babies who have been displaced by conflict and are now existing in Refugee camps. These kids and their families have been through a terrible time and it does not get any easier once they reach the camps. The conditions in the camps are terrible and without aid coming from major charities; it falls to grass roots volunteers to help.
We cannot help much but we can send clothing for the children, clean underwear, warm coats, a toothbrush and paste, a bar of soap - the things we take for granted. We also give the kids some toys and colouring things to help them feel like children again.
The toys and clothes are second hand which is great, but the toiletries we must buy new. The money we raise is for purchasing these things as they are expensive. Please help us to keep doing what we are doing! It is small scale but very important. We have already made up about 800 packs over several months and we must keep going!
