Maita Mapara is a beautiful 14 month old baby girl who is currently living in Harare, Zimbabwe. She was diagnosed with liver cirrhosis at 5 months old and as a result of lack of treatment, she developed liver failure. Her condition is now dire and significantly deteriorating as time goes by. Right now, Maita's abdomen is severely swollen and she needs an emergency liver transplant, to be done in India inorder to save her life. This transplant costs £50,000 and includes all her transplant and hospital fees, flights, food and accommodation for her and the parents for the duration of their stay in India.
