We Can Make A Difference - Please Give As Much As You Can.

This is a group of incredibly deserving charities, for those people who are vulnerable and appear to have been left behind. The UK mortgage industry has set 30th November for a 'Sleep Out', to raise not only awarness of the problem of homelessness in our cities, but also much needed funds.

End Youth Homelessness (EYH) raise funds for groups they work with, to help 30,000 young people, with four main aims: to provide housing, assistance with health, with work training etc and prevention - aiming to help young people before they face a life on the streets.

Crisis is the national charity for the homeless. They work throughout the year, however at Christmas they offer those living on the street somewhere safe and warm to stay for a few days over the holiday period. They provide free health checks, clothing, three meals a day and positive encouragement and help to people to recalim their lives.

I will be sleeping out for the night (29th November) in one of our northern cities and am looking to raise a minimum of £1,500.00 to be split between EYH and Crisis at Christmas. The work that they do makes a real difference to the lives of people who understandably think they have been forgotten by a society that doesn't seem to care about them. Help me correct that.
