We have a very dear friend, with two young daughters.

A couple of years ago she was diagnosed with breast cancer and, while she was recovering from treatment, her husband - the girls' father - was also diagnosed with cancer. After a long and sad struggle, during which our friend continued to work - in her words 'to be somewhere where I don't have to think about cancer' - her husband, their father, has now died

Through all of the awful times she would say that when it is all over - as she knew it would be - she would love to take her girls to the Maldives for a week. We would love to send her on her dream holiday but can't do it without some financial help.
