Story
I am entering the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge to raise funds for Malvern SKC.
I feel as a student of Malvern SKC that all students, including myself, would benefit from having sport foam mats as they help students during the Kumite, Kata and Competition practice sessions. These sessions help all students regardless of grade or ability, to build confidence in Shotokan Karate and the sessions would benefit greatly from the addition of these mats which we don't currently have.
The challenge takes place on the 9th June 2018 on Yorkshire's 3 proudest mountains, Penyghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, covering a distance of 24 miles with 5000 feet of ascent.
This will be my 3rd year entering the gruelling challenge and I am hoping to beat my best time of 11 Hours 19 Minutes.
All donations will be greatly received.
