Mandy is a very special person who has battled a very rare form of cancer called Carcinoid cancer /Syndrome and causes Neuro Endocrine tumours. Since diagnosis 1 year ago Mandy has had 2 major surgeries, 1 being open heart surgery and has beat the odds to come through these. Mandy now needs further treatment including liver surgery which may not available in this Country. All those who know and love her know how much she loves life and her work and has always put other people first. Mandy has always been there for everyone else and now her friends and family will do whatever we can to help her. We are in consultation with specialist units in New York and Sheffield and hope to be able to get her the treatment she needs and in future help and raise awareness of this terrible cancer.
