Story
I have a passion for voluntary work. I have accompanied medical teams on voluntary missions abroad, namely, Hope Outreach (Sri Lanka), International Health Services (Honduras) and Namaste Children’s Community Foundation (Nepal). I now feel that it is time to repay the country of my place of birth. In October, I will be undertaking voluntary teaching work at Kibera Slum School, Zelyn and assist with the running of the orphanage at Nageya Children’s Home/School, in Nairobi. All funds will go towards the schools - to assist with the purchase of books, stationery, equipment, uniforms and children's school meals. I will be funding my own flight, accommodation and transport costs.
