Our village hall was built in 1965 by volunteers. The hall is now in need of major refurbishment and the heating does not work. Following consultation with the community and architectural advice -the major recommendations are that a new roof, heating system and new windows are now urgently required. It is a lifeline for the community as shopping, transport and medical services are very limited. The hall is currently used by; our senior citizens, Women’s Institute, bowling club, playschool for toddlers, football team, village school activities and as a wedding venue. Addressing the heating, particularly for our pensioners and toddlers is the reason we are reaching out to you. Please be generous ... thank you so much.
