Hi, my name is Maria.
I own a lovely doggy called Luly, who is always happy and lively, sometimes she has a lazy day of course, like all of us. We are best friends since the day I got her two years ago...and I cannot imagine my life without her. Neither does anyone who meets her. She changed lives of all my friends and family, and she is just like one of us.
Yesterday I realised that she started acting very strangely, she was short of breath and very weak. We went to the vet and she was diagnosed with "Thoreocolumbar disc disease" it means that one of the discs in her spine is pressing on the spinal cord and causes her to lose control and sensation in her rear legs. Today she cannot move and the prognosis is not good, without an immediate operation.
Even though I work full time and have some savings the cost of the operation is to big for me to afford it as it might be as much as £5000, which leaves me about £3000 short. I would do absolutely anything to help my best friend and I hope you can help her too, otherwise, without the operation happening as soon as possible her chances of survival are very small.
