Emeleia May Edwards born at 01.02am on the 2nd May. Emeleia was born in Birmingham women hospital as I had gone into pre-labour at just 23 weeks and two days. Emeleia weighed just 510gs. Our tiny but perfect daughter lived for just 13 days and 9 hours.

Our beautiful baby girl received amazing care from the Dr's and nurse's on the neonatal unit and although we will never be able to thank the staff enough for what they were able to provide for Emeleia in her short life we would like to give something back to the unit.
The second part of us fund raising, is to raise money to improve the parent flats at the hospital. During Emeleia's stay we were allowed to stay in the parents flats rather than travelling the hour and half back to Hereford or having to pay a fortune on hotels. The flat we stayed in was very basics - a double bedroom, bathroom, lounge and a kitchen with just a kettle, fridge and microwave. Some of the furniture needs replacing as well. We would like to raise funds to make life a little more comfortable as some parents rely on them for months while their baby is in the neonatal unit.
