My dad (Graham Burton) & I would like to take the opportunity to thank ALL the staff on Plym Neuro Unit for looking after mum, Marilyn Burton, during her final few weeks, days & hours with us by raising funds to support their good work

Mum arrived at Plym in March for a period of rehabilitation following brain surgery. Mum had worked on Plym for several years before retiring last November and kept saying how happy she was to be returning to her friends and colleagues again even under the strange circumstances of being a patient.

Sadly following a brave fight with cancer mum passed away Sunday 17th April.

Mum was ALWAYS treated with the highest respect, dignity & compassion and EVERYONE did their very best for not only her but dad & I as well. Several staff not just those working on Plym went above and beyond to help & support and we were made to feel like part of a big wonderful family.

Our words will never be enough to express how we feel and show how truly thankful we are to each & every one of them all and we hope that raising some funds will go a little way to say 'Thank You'
