Story
so here is my husband and son. This July, they will be cycling from rainworth to Skegness on a tandem with Rainworth Riders to raise money for our little boy carter who was diagnosed with a life limiting disease called Duchenne muscular dystrophy. This disease means carters muscles are failing rapidly with the heart being the last to fail. carter is only six years old and the money raised will help towards funding house alterations which will include a special bedroom and wet room for our home as he will soon need a room fully accessable by wheelchair.
Our son braiden is only 13 years of age and has taken on this huge challenge for his little brother of cycling 80 miles with his dad Mark, on a tandem, from their village of Rainworth to Skegness.
Although this in itself is a massive achievement, we would love him to feel as though it was worthwhile and for him to raise money towards the alterations.
If anyone would like to come along to wave them off, the ride is taking place on Saturday 21st July and they will be setting off at 9am!
Thankyou in advance, we are forever grateful for everyones help and support!
