Longparish Cricket Club is a traditional village club which serves the local community. It was established over 100 years ago and was a founder member of the Hampshire Cricket League. The club fields 3 senior teams in the Hampshire Leagues and Sunday, Midweek and Indoor teams, as well as junior teams across the age groups.

The idyllic ground is in great condition and backed by a traditional pavilion, but the net system at the club is now over 20 years old and is in urgent need of an upgrade. An upgraded net facility will help meet the standard required by the club to support the development of its junior members, as well as maintaining the high standard of its senior teams.

The club has been unsuccessful with recent grant funding applications, partly due to redirection of funding towards COVID related causes and in the current economic climate there are no known available sources of grant funding. Despite the club being financially stable, it is not in a position to fund the required net replacement without additional monies being raised.
