Marathon Madness!!!
Not being graced with the physique of a long distance runner and against my better judgement I'm challenging myself to run a marathon to raise money to support 1st Radstock Scout Group who are fundraising to provide fully accessible toilet facilities to help widen the reach of Scouting.
I'm running the Newton Abbot marathon on Sunday 29 October - a two lap race that has a long hill section on each lap. I'm told the views at the top are worth the climb but I must confess I'm looking forward to working with gravity a lot more than against it!
I'd be grateful for any messages of encouragement and support.
