Millgate school caters for 90 boys with social and emotional mental health difficulties, our boys have suffered fractured starts to their lives and endured huge emotional turmoil, they are proven to be susceptible to mental health problems later on in life.
One of the things our boys struggle with is developing empathy for others , our student council would like to raise £250 for young minds and £200 which would pay for a play table for our friend George. As son as we hit £250, the page will turn into a crowdfunder for George, he is one and has a global development delay and has experienced struggles kneeling and standing, georges Mum Mel, is a valued member of our staff team, the boys want to help her and George by buying him this table, so far it is the only method that George’s family have found to help him to stand, he loves it!
All of student council have committed to running the mud run and would love to raise enough money to buy the table for George- he is also coming to watch us. Any donation large or small would be greatly appreciated .
