Bolivia is one of the poorest countries in South America. Borders Exploration Group is a charity which gives young adults the chance to go to different countries in the world and make a difference through assisting on-going environmental and social/cultural projects. In July 2017, 29 of us will be going to the Bolivian Highlands for just over 3 weeks. I am a volunteer leader going with the group and have already raised £1500. I need to raise a further £700 to finance the trip. As a group we are also raising group funds for our expenses and also to fund project work we undertake. If we exceed my target, additional money will go to group funds.
To encourage your support I will be walk/jogging St.Cuthberts Way from Melrose to Holy Island (62miles) and aim to complete it in 2 days. This will take place in early April and training has begun.
