2020 is a big year for me– I turns 60!
To celebrate I have decided to do more exercise, this coming from a veteran of 7 Iron Man Triathlons and 20+ marathons.
Anyway, I have come up with a ‘6/60/600/6000’ challenge. Swim 6 miles, run 60, cycle 600 and, in the process, raise £6,000 for a local charity.
I am supporting Ryedale Carers Support based in Kirkbymoorside, North Yorkshire.
Ryedale Carers Support is a local voluntary organisation and registered charity that provides practical and emotional help for carers, the people they care for and older people living on their own. The service is provided by volunteers who can visit weekly, fortnightly or monthly for a couple of hours or so.
Any contribution, no matter how small, you can make to this cause is greatly appreciated. We will keep you up to date on progress, including photos of me suffering, albeit for a great cause.
