Im looking for donations for my bike ride from london to paris for the research into kidney disease and equipment for manchester based hospitals that look after patients with kidney disease and have had kidney transplantion. It a very special charity thats close to me due to my 7yr old daughter has been diagnosed with kidney disease with no cause given to us and my girlfriend of 14yrs has been diagnosed aswell with no cause for that. Also last year my cousin had a transplant at manchester royal infirmary and it has changed her life completley. The research that is done by kidneys for life is vital in finding out these potential life saving cures and medicines for this disease that effects so many people in the uk.

The aims and objectives of Kidneys for Life are:

to provide funding of research into kidney disease, transplantation, dialysis and related disease affecting the kidney

direct patient amenities for renal and transplant patients not usually funded

support of education and ongoing training of renal multi-disciplinary teams and patients

support of conferences and workshops both in the UK and overseas

purchase of medical equipment for the benefit of renal and transplant patients
