We have 3 lovely boys: Finn, Euan and Joel. They are beautiful, but life is 'interesting' because Finn has severe Special Educational Needs, and Joel has a rare chromosome disorder (16p11.2 microdeletion) which causes learning difficulties, autism and eating problems. Currently Finn and Joel have to share a bedroom, but this is no longer safe due to Finn's lack of understanding. Our other boy, Euan, cannot share a bedroom because he has hideous chronic migraines which are managed by having enough sleep (his brothers are disruptive in the night). Creating an extra bedroom would let each boy be safe and get essential sleep. Brilliantly, we have been awarded a Disability Facilities Grant by the Council to fund a new bedroom, but we're £13,000 short of the total building cost.
