WTF is this all about then??

The one and only Mike Heckman, aka Champagne Mikey, is turning FIFTY this year. Sweet Baby Jesus!!! Yes, admittedly he can probably still outparty most of us put together, but we thought something this remarkable and significant deserved a very special present! 

He's seriously fallen in love over the past few years with French Bulldogs, largely since a certain l'il black fella called Sebastian has been an on-and off flatmate of his. I bought him this t.shirt for his last birthday and he wears it ALL the time!

BUT

Mike suffers from a dreadful case of FOMO - we all know he can't say no to going for a beer and there's no such things as "just the one"! But we all love him dearly for the fun guy he is and how many giggles we've had with him over the years. 

We know he'd really love a pup of his own, but these Frenchie pups don't come cheap, so we though we'd crowd-source and ask his nearest and dearest to chip in and help us get him a little closer to that goal.

We're going to help him with getting a little furry companion when the time feels right for him, and that's where you guys come in! Ultimately, if he decides to bail on the whole "responsibility" thing, he can use this for a great holiday instead!

WHAT'S NEXT?

Every little bit helps; we ideally want to raise enough for Mike to get the Frenchie puppy from a reputable breeder and a few of the things he'll need and to help out with those early vets bills. Please just donate what you can, no matter how large or small. We can't wait to see the look on his face! 

For those who get involved, we'll get together a photo/video album of all of you to also share with Mike, so he can see the extent of this global pup-funding mission and how much we all adore him!  You'll also all get to suggest ideas for a name for the pup!
