Story
Hi! I am a cancer dietitian working at the North West Cancer Centre at Altnagelvin Hospital (NI). I work with pancreatic cancer patients who are receiving chemotherapy at the centre. There is a new charity called NIPanC which is due to launch in August 2018. Joe Jordan and I have decided to do a skydive to fundraise in aid of the charity with a view to help those patients and their families who live with and have been bereaved by pancreatic cancer. Help us help them!
The NIPanC's Vision Statement is :
To end all deaths from Pancreatic Cancer in Northern Ireland
NIPanC will achieve this by:
* Increasing public understanding of Pancreatic Cancer – to explain symptoms and stress the importance of early diagnosis;
* Promoting professional awareness – to ensure that Pancreatic Cancer is always picked up when it presents;
* Funding Research – to deliver better treatments and ultimately to eliminate the disease; and
* Supporting patients with Pancreatic Cancer and their families – to help them to cope and to ensure that they never walk alone.

5 years agoI have been meaning to do this for months and apologise for the delay!! We managed to raise a total of £3087 for the NIPanC charity from both online and sponsor sheet forms. We are overwhelmed with the support and the generosity of our family, friends and work colleagues and honestly can not thank you enough!!!

Your continued generosity has well and truly exceeded our expectations x there are no words to say how much this means! Unfortunately our skydive was postponed on the 11th Aug due to the weather but we are hoping to reschedule it ASAP and will let you know as soon as its confirmed! We are still collecting so feel free to share the link with family and friends and maximise on helping this charity help others!
