Asalamu alaykum dears sisters,
Im making a request for a sister who is in alot of debt...i know this sister personaly,nearly 4 years ago when i came into islam it was really hard for me as i didnt know any sisters personaly and i was alone in a refuge. I didnt know how to pray and i was finding it hard to learn. I prayed that night in night prayer and asked allah swt to send me someone who can help me to learn how to pray. That morning i remeber i was on my way to bham glm and i didnt return to the rufuge till the evening.
When i got to the refuge to my suprise a muslim sister was there with her little child. She had just arrived that morning. I spoke to her and asked her if she knew how to pray...she replied yes,i asked her if shel teach me and she said yes, alhumdulilah with her help i learnt the words the meaning and how to perform salah in less then 3 weeks....im only telling you all this because i want you to know how important she is to me as i feel allah swt sent her into my life for a reason.
And now i want to help her.
She is in debt by £2000
Shes had some rough times and got herself into debt,she wrks hard to pay it off but the intrest keep building so its seems to be never ending.
I want to raise possibly £2500 for this sister and her daughter.
£2000 to cover her debts and extra £500 to keep her stable untill her next bills come through.
She has made a zakat application but thats going to take some time,mean while intrest keeps piling high..
I feel like its my turn to help her....i cant afford to give her the full amount so im asking you sisters/brothers if youl help me help her.
I help loads of charities and collect donations for aid etc,but i feel we need to help sisters from amoung us aswel.
The sister has not asked me to do this but i feel i need to help her out of humanity and sisterhood.
