The Romania project involves 11 young people from the New Lodge area participating in a life changing trip to Romania to work with those less fortunate. The young people will work with young people with disability and also in the local orphanages. The trip is a chance for the young people to experience a different culture, help others and learn a lot personally. The project is much more than the trip to Romania and sees the young people volunteer weekly working with young people from the 174 disability trust, homeless work and preparation group work for Romania. With all of this the young people and staff fundraiser tirelessly and do not receive any funding for the trip.
