Story
Fulford Scout Group is open to all 6-14 year olds, as well as 18+ for leaders. It is run entirely by volunteers and provides activities to inspire and enrich the lives of all children who attend. I have a son in scouts, one in cubs and another who is looking forward to starting beavers. They thoroughly enjoy the time they spend at the weekly meetings, events and camps and I want to support them and say a big thank you for all the hard work that goes into running the group.

6 years agoSwim done! A little further than expected as I didn't swim in a straight line but, 1700m in approximately 43 minutes. Awesome day and the water was so warm that some swam without wetsuits! On to the next event now...

6 years agoLess than a week to go now before heading off to lake Windermere to swim a mile and hopefully raise some further funds for Fulford Scouts. We’ll also be checking out the conditions in preparation for sponsored event 3, the end to end 10 mile swim! I’ll be in a kayak for that supporting Phil Brightman who’ll be doing the swimming as he’s a little crazier than I!
