This Sunday, the 1st of October 2017 I will be attempting to run/walk the streets of Cardiff in the ‘Cardiff half Marathon!

This year I will be hoping to raise money for Llanishen high school’s ASC unit! It is a cause that I’m really passionate abut and one which I hope you will also buy into. Having attended the school myself and more recently working very closely with their Asc unit, I have seen and heard first hand of the huge effort that goes into ensuring the children there have the best possible education.

The unit does fantastic work helping with the education, promotion of good health and social inclusion of ASC children who attend Llanishen High school.

The autism unit provides opportunities for children within the base to engage in activities that promote skill development and participation. They also work in the local community where they offer opportunities for families supporting children at the base to meet for social support. With schools budgets tight as ever, I’m hoping to raise £500 which will I can then provide some invaluable resources to support ongoing.
